Ageless?
I know what you might be thinking. Age-less? What the heck does that even mean? Why is this even something she is talking about? I'd like you to hear me out, then. Of course, there is no such thing as not having an age. If you were born, you should know how old you are. But I’m going to talk about something more about our mindset.
I remember being in my early 20s thinking about how much older people were in their 40s and 50s. I assumed they couldn’t do certain things, were slow, and couldn’t keep up. Forget about the people in their 70’s and 80’s. I thought they might as well give up! I had family members who explicitly always used the excuse that they were way too old to be exercising anymore, so they didn’t. Their mindset was that they didn’t need to do certain things over a certain age anymore, which I know now is utter and complete bullshit.
Now, at 44 years old, I can do things I couldn’t do when I was 24. Why? Because I never told myself I couldn’t and took complete responsibility for my health. There has been a total shift in how we view health, exercise, nutrition, and healthcare. Many people are changing how they see food, are exercising regularly, and are only seeing their doctors to be proactive in their healthcare. In the past, doctors were more heavily relied on to keep people healthy by prescribing medications to address disorders, and that was just what people did. Although this still happens with many people, folks are taking control of how they feel and age.

I am now an ambassador for Ageless Athletics, and the link above is my affiliate link for 10% off. If you are middle-aged and proud of where you are in life, regardless of age, why not show the rest of the world? Aging is not a curse but an opportunity for growth and change. The process which leads you to the best version of yourself is unique, and I challenge you to take that first step if you haven’t already!
